My Daughter My Teacher

the First I have been blessed with 3 lovely children.  The first two were pretty much the ideal children.... developed physically right on time or early, learned quickly, listened to direction, gave big hugs, behaved in church (this is important to my parents... :)), are loved by teachers, and shine brightly.  And then (I remember actually saying this), I decided I wanted a little more chaos.... and along came my little teacher. Oh, I learned a LOT about being a Mom from my first two the Second kids; about self-sacrifice and complete dedication, but I didn't really learn about communication, unconditional love, and breaking through boundaries until I was challenged to do so.  I snuggled with her more than I did the others.  I felt the warmth in her heart more deeply.  I wasn't as concerned with goals and bed times and the 'right' way to be a parent.  I let go of the reins.  What did this do for me?  For one, it got me a second appoint...

Into the Woods

Ok I have my photos uploaded from my 'hike' today.  It's quite amazing how much BETTER these scenes look in the now.  I actually thought of that whilst I was taking the pictures, but I had to take them anyway to see if they turned out.  I must note at this time that the BEST photos I got were when I stopped on the side of the road when I saw an amazing view of the sun.  I used to just note and drive by usually because it was not convenient to stop, but not this time... and I was rewarded... hopefully you will be too! Big Time Valentines

I don't know why I decided to look in the boxes of paper products that my kids brought home from their grandparent's house one weekend, but I did last night.  And what to my wondering eyes did I see????? BIG Price Tags from a car dealership that would work wonderfully as DOOR HANGER VALENTINES! So... here's what I did last night... :) This is only 35, but I had to make more when I got in to work in the morning because I couldn't remember how many people were all the offices.. :)  I think it was about 45 total!  ;) And that, my friends, was REALLY FUN! :) I hope you had fun spreading LOVE on Valentine's Day (whatever the real reason we have the day is....) :)
